Cholesterol is fat that is largely formed by the body itself, especially in the liver. Cholesterol has several functions for the body, including for forming hormones such as estrogen and progesterone as well as forming bile acid and bile salt. Excessive cholesterol levels in the body can cause cardiovascular disease and other metabolic diseases. Alternative plants can be used as cholesterol-lowering herbal medicine including God's crown and lemon peels (MODEMON). God's crown and lemon peels are dried and brewed with hot water. The aim of this study is to determine the percentage decrease in cholesterol levels in mice (Mus musculus) strain Balb/c. This study used 10 mice. On the first day, the researcher checked it to determine the normal condition of mice in the field before treatment. After the treatment of hypercholesterolemia, the mice were divided into two groups, the first group was given Modemon steeping therapy and the second group was not given MODEMON steeping therapy. From this study it was proven that there is a decrease in cholesterol levels in mice by giving MODEMON steeping with a dose of 1cc for 7 days by 20-33%.
